“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.’” – Mark 11:23

Life happens to all of us and it is absolutely okay to acknowledge your emotions as you encounter the mountains in your pathway. The key though is that you not see the mountain as a dead end, but as an opportunity for the supernatural Hand of God to propel you all the way to the top. The reality of your pain may be facing you financially, physically, relationally, or spiritually, but there is a higher truth by which we live and that truth ultimately needs to guide your faith.

You move your mountains by shifting the atmosphere over your life in praise, releasing His glory through worship and decreeing His Word over your circumstances. Your faith has the power to move that mountain out of your way so choose to line up your words with His so you can see victory come to your life.

I have discovered that many failures are not realised through a lack of competence as much as it is caused by a paralysing fear of failure. You cannot overcome what you are not willing to confront, so face that fear standing between you and your breakthrough. You need to confess what you believe and begin to challenge the negative thoughts that plague your mind with a belief system that is thoroughly rooted in the Word of God. Prayer support from those in positions of authority is important, but ultimately you need to face your mountain and it needs to hear your voice! Speak to that mountain and tell it what God says.
